The Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board Charitable Foundation:
Inspires hope and fosters resilience in individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities.
Assists individuals served by the H-NNCSB with overcoming obstacles to treatment and recovery.
Focuses on services that are unfunded or underfunded and creates a resource to meet the needs of individuals who require targeted personal supports to maintain their stability in the community.
About the H-NNCSB Charitable Foundation
The Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board Charitable Foundation was established in 2023 to support the mission of the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board (H-NNCSB). The foundation was established with initial funding through a generous donation by the late Sheriff BJ Roberts of Hampton — a long-term H-NNCSB Board Member and champion of behavioral healthcare needs within the community.
Our Mission
To further assist people to overcome behavioral health obstacles, encourage and enhance personal recovery, and improve the lives of individuals impacted by mental health, substance use, and developmental disabilities through applied support directly to the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board.
Our Impact
With the generous support of individuals, organizations, corporations, businesses, faith-based communities, and other community partners, the H-NNCSB has been able to provide the following for the individuals we serve:
